????The Qingdao Laoshan 100 Ultra Trail Race 2016 was held on the 21 and 22 May in Laoshan view zone in Qingdao. 989 racers raced in The Most Famous Hill in The Coastal Area during two days game, they have viewed the beautiful view while challenging their limit.

????Jointly sponsored by the Qingdao Municipal Sports Bureau, the Municipal Sports General Association, the Municipal Tourism Bureau, the Laoshan View Zone Management Bureau, and the Qingdao Laoshan 100 Ultra Trail Race is one of the important point race of the International Trail Racing Association. The game has 3 races, which are 100 km, 50 km and 25 km races respectively. The 100 km game links almost all the famous tourist sites in the Laoshan view zone with the racing track, the racers of this game have finished the approximately 6,060 climb during the challenge of their physical limit.

????After two days’ competition, Guo Weiqing, a man who comes from Zhao Yuan and joined the 100 km trail race for the first time, stood out from the numerous famous runners to get the championship of 100km men’s team with 14 hours 3 minutes and 29 seconds; while Zheng Liping received the championship of 100km women’s team with 16 hours, 55 minutes, and 16 seconds. In the 50km trail race, the championship of men’s team goes to Yao Jintao, and the championship of women’s team went to Wang Ruifang; in the 25km trail race, the championship of men’s team went to Ye Guizhang, and the championship of women’s team went to Zhu Ruili.

????Many racers have all said they enjoy running in the Most Famous Hill in the Coastal Area in the interview, and it deserves the title The Most Beautiful Running Track. “Competing in the racing game means your eyes goes to heaven while your body drops to the hell, this racing track is the most difficult one among all the tracks I had experienced, it can be called as a devil racing track,” a participant said .

????Enjoying the fame of The Most Famous Hill in the Coastal Area, Laoshan not only has excellent geographical condition, but also offers a beautiful view of mountains and seas for those people in it. As one of traditional famous Taoist hills in China, and Laoshan also has rich culture. This game is the 1st time in the history of Laoshan that Laoshan has opened its gate to those trail racing fans. In order to make sure all participants could enjoy the beautiful view and folk culture of Laoshan, the Laoshan View Management Bureau has included Jufeng, Taiqing Palace, check board stone, Tianjiushui and other famous tourist sites of Laoshan in the racing track when they designed the track. Racers not only have the view of these beautiful tourist sites during the game, but also can have a unique view such as sunrise, sunset and the sea and sky merge into one, and thus the Most Beautiful Racing Track can offer a devil racing track and heavenly view at the same time.

????Besides the all-covering guaranteeing service offered by official departments of the view zone and Qingdao municipality, there are also over 600 student volunteers from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, the Qingdao Hotel Management Collage, the Qingdao Healthcare College, and over 300 medical care volunteers offer medical services in core zone and CP sites in the racing track for racers, 120 emergency centers, the Qingdao Angel Emergency Rescue Centre, Qingdao Red Cross Blue Sky Rescue Center offer emergency rescue to racers. Police, traffic police, and security companies stand by in the starting and ending areas and core areas. All working staff cooperate tightly and work for extra time in the arduous mountainous areas to ensure the first class level among all domestic trail racing games in key aspects such as quality, securities, transportation and medical care.
