????The construction of the headquarters building of the Qingdao International Cruise Port and Qingdao Port commenced on July 1st. It marks the construction of the cruise port city officially launching. This is also the first project under construction since the cruise port city was incorporated into the Qingdao development strategy. After completion, the headquarters building and International Cruise Passenger Transportation Center will echo each other despite being different heights. It will become a new landmark of Qingdao International Cruise Port as well as a new popular flagship where many high-end industries including domestic and overseas shipping, finance and trade will scramble to enter.

????Located to the southeast of the International Cruise Home Port, the building will be 199.05m high in total with the total construction area of 112,600 square meters. Total there will be 45 floors including three floors underground and 42 floors on the ground. ????Last week Qingdao was confirmed to become one of the first batches of 8 cities obtaining the support to construct the intellectual property operation service system. Qingdao will initially have 150 million Yuan fund support from the national finance.

????12 Qingdao projects have been selected into the special project of key international science and technology cooperation

????The list of the first batch of the China 2017 key international scientific and technological innovation cooperation projects among 14 national governments has recently been announced. 12 of 19 projects recommended by Qingdao have been selected. The total number ranks 1st among all Chinese municipalities with independent planning status.

????Set up in 2001, the special project is the only external international science and technology cooperation and communication platform in China to enhance the capability of independent innovation by integrating, coordinating and fully utilizing global scientific and technological resources.

????The 12 selected projects recommended by Qingdao this year involve many fields including clean energy, medicine and health, agriculture and food science and intelligent manufacturing. The cooperation partners cover many countries including America, Egypt, Germany and Indonesia. ????Sino-Russian United Industrial Technology Center will settle in Qingdao

????The Qingdao CEPC CAE Technology Co., Ltd. and Russian PLM Ural Group, the largest industrial emulation technology company in Russia have recently signed a cooperation agreement on jointly establishing “Sino-Russian United Industrial Technology Center”.

????The technology expert team of the center will be composed of famous scientists from China and Russia. Based in Qingdao and providing services to all over China, the center will conduct business in the high-end equipment manufacturing field including aviation, maritime work and automobile, take the priority to provide CAE emulation technology to the R&D project of Sino-Russian united wide-body passenger plane, large aero-engine and gas turbine research projects, provide senior CAE emulation technology training to Chinese engineering and technical staff, conduct CAE emulation technology application research and software development. ????On July 3, 24 traditional Chinese medicine students of the Netherlands Qingbai Traditional Chinese Medicine College from the Netherlands and Poland came to the Qingdao Haici Medical Group to participate in training and studying traditional Chinese medicine for two weeks.
