????D311, China’s new type bullet sleeper train began running to the Shanghai Railway Station from the Beijing South Railway Station recently. The latest type bullet sleeper train, which designed and manufactured by CSR Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. led by the China Railway Corporation based on the CRH2E bullet sleeper train, adopts a brand new designto provide comfortable travel experience to passengers, each of whom can enjoy a berth as compartment.

????The latest type of bullet sleeper train made in Qingdao consists of 16 trains; all of the sleepers inside are soft sleepers. The train, which can travel up to 250km per hour, can take up to 880 passengers. In both sides of the aisle lie double-deck sleepers, which are aligned with the running direction. Independent roomsenableeach passenger to enjoy his or own private space as compartment. Double-deck windows are adopted to enable passengers in both upper and lower sleepers to have a window.

????The new type of bullet sleeper train provides more user-friendly facilities and services to meet passengers’ diverse demands. Each berth has a little table for passengers to place laptop, personal items, food and drinks, as well as independent charging dock, light, reading light, newspaper net, and newspaper bag for passenger to read and work during the travel.

????Thanks to improved noise control technique, the noise in the carriage now is under 62 decibels. The extra low noise provide comfortable environment to passengers even in high-speed traveling.

????With extended height, more space is available for passengers in upper sleeper, who will feel comfortable when sitting or standing. Each berth has a lazyback on the wall with adjustable angle to fit for passengers’ posture. Air outlet is designed for each berth to make traveling better.
